The annual sports meeting of the MaunKatapero Athletic Club was held in steady ram ul Maungatapcre to-day, and ua a result tho Kate receipts were only £2G, as compared with £lll last year. Fortunately tho club has a cash reserve of several hundreds of pounds, which will enable to-day s stake money, which is about £2OO, to be paid.
