FRANKTON CLUB'S MEETING. [from our own correspondent.] HAMIBTON, Friday. ' There was a good attendance of players | and supporters at the .annual meeting of | the Frankton Football Club. Mr. T. Tyne j presided. The annual report stated the season was I not. as successful as it might have been, i owing in part, to injuries received by senior players and to some extent to the difficulty ■ experienced in getting any combination in the junior and third grade teams. HAMILTON OLD BOYS' YEAR. [from our own correspondent ] HAMILTON, Friday. \ very satisfactory season was reviewed at the annual meeting of the Hamilton Old Boys' Football Club. Mr. W. Tanner presided over a largo attendance of members Tho annual report stated the club had four teams in tho Hamilton Rugby 1_ nion s competitions, the senior A and junior A teams winning ihe championships in their respective grades. [froji our own CORRESPONDENT.] j WHANGAREI, Thursday. j A small credit balance was shown in tho 1 balance-sheet presented at, the annual meet- j ing of the Whangarei City Rugby Football Club last evening. The report stated that owing to a number of prominent, members leaving the district, last, year, the season I had not been as satisfactory as in the past. I although the club finished third in the senior competition. The prospects for the coming season were much brighter and it was anticipated that strong teams would be fielded.
