ASLEEP IN A BATH.
VAGRANT IN EMPTY HOUSE. MAN CONVICTED AT HAMILTON. [FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 HAMILTON'. Monday. A rn.ii, James Thomas, aged 30 years, was foind asleep in a bath in an unoccupied house at Frankton yesterday. The children who first saw him thought he was dead. Thomas was arrested and was brought beforo Mr. F. W. Stringer, J.P., in tho Hamilton Police Court to-day 011 a charge of being an idle, and disorderly person. Sergeant Angland referred to the danger of fire iieing caused by unauthorised persons entering unoccupied houses. lie thought accused, who had not been in trouble before, was a victim of tho depression, Accused said he had work to go to. Accused was convicted and ordered to come ujt for sentence if called on.
