THE DAYLIGHT LIMITED. RESUMPTION FOR PERIOD. OTHER SPECIAL SERVICES. The daylight limited express from Auckland to Wellington will resume running during the Easter holidays from March 22 to March 29, inclusive, while other extra express services between Auckland and Wellington liavo been arranged for the holiday period. The daylight express will leave Auckland at 8 a.m. each day from March 22 to March 29, except Sunday, March 27, and will arrive in Wellington at 11.10 p.m. In addition to tho night limited and the ordinary expresses from Auckland at 7 p.m. and 7.40 p.m., a special tarin will leave Auckland for Wellington at 8.5 p.m. on March 24 and 23. Special expresses will also leave Wellington at 3.34 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. on March 24, arriving at Auckland at 7.46 a.m. and 1.24 p.m. respectively the following day. The express from Auckland to Opua, which normally leaves three days a week at 8.40 a.m., will bo despatched for tho northern centre every day from March 24 to March 29, inclusive. The south-bound train will leave Opua for Auckland at 9.40 a.m. and arrive at 6.10 p.m. on the corresponding days. Trains will also run daily from March 24 to March 29 between Auckland and Taneatua, on tho East Coast line, while the Auckland-Rotorua service will be augmented by a special train, which is to leave Auckland at 2.35 p.m. on March 24 and is to arrive at Rotorua at 9.25 p.m. the same day. A corresponding train on March 24 will leave Rotorua at 2.45 p.m. and will reach Auckland at 9.19 p.m. Low fares have been arranged by the Railways Department between Auckland and Opua, Auckland and Whangarei, Auckland and Hamilton, Auckland and Rotorua and Auckland and Paeroa during the holiday period, while tho cost of visiting New Plymouth and Wellington by rail has also been reduced.
