KEEPING FRUIT FRESH.
To keep the cut surface of left-over femons, oranges or grape-fruit fresh and moist, invert on a plate and press out the air beneath. ' The moisture on the surface will then hold the fruit fast. Such a practice is not only an economy, but an advantage in preparing fruit of time.
