QUERY CORNER.
As several new members have asked for information regarding our system of marks and awards, details are given as follows: Cash or book prizes, mark-cards or stars are awarded for practically all work sent in by membeis, whether original or copied, the cash and book prizes usually being, reserved for competition awards. Cards of five, ten and twenty marks are awarded for items of varying merit. These are saved until the marks total 100. 'I he winner then forwards the cards, and receives a cash prize of live shillings, also a certificate and title of M.B.G. (Member of Boys and Girls). When the second 100 marks are won, a prize of 7s bd and D.M.B.G. (Distinguished Member of Boys and Girls) are awarded, the same prize and D.l). M.B.G. (Doubly Distinguished Member, etc.) being awarded for the third 100. Gold and Silver Stars are also given as consolation awards and for small items. The winner of twelve of tln?se sends them in, and receives a Star Card and a book prize, valued at five shillings.
