AYRSHIRE BREEDERS.
AMALGAMATION EFFECTED. AUCKLAND DISTRICT BRANCHES. The merging of the Whangarei andAuckland branches of the Ayrshire Breeders' Association was decided upon at a conference of the two branches hold at the Waiotira Show, North Auckland, on Thursday. It was agreed that within the combined branch there should still be two district committees, one in tha North, with Mr. W. H. Walker, of Maungakaramea, as chairman and Mr.: Valder, of Maungakaramea, as secretary, and one for the area nearer Auckland,with Mr. T. M. Thomson, sen.,' of Waiuku, as chairman and Mr. H. E. : Kissling, of Pukekohe, as secretary. Mr* Kissling was appointed general secretary, of the combined branch. The question of holding an annual combined sale of pedigree Ayrshire bulls was discussed and remits were framed for the annual meeting of the New Zealand Ayrshire Cattle Breeders' Association, tq be held at Hamilton in June. It was arranged that the annual meet* ing of the branch should be held in Auckland at the time of the Auckland Winter Exhibition.
