BURGLARY AT OHAUPO.

GOODS TAKEN FROM STORE. ENTRY THROUGH FANLIGHT. [CY telegraph.—OWN correspondent.] HAMILTON, Monday. Goods fvalued at over £SO were stolen from the. Ohaupo branch store of the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company. Limited, Uy thieves who entered the premises some time last evening. When employees arrived at the store this morning it was found that the intruders had entered through a fanlight over the front door. A steel bar, which had evidently been used to break the glass, was later discovered in the building.

It is not, vet possible io determine the exact amount of tlie company's loss, but an investigation this morning showed that a considerable quantity of tobacco, groceries and clothing was missing from the stock. The thieves also removed a number of sparking plugs, a .22 calibre rifle and a quantity of ammunition. The store was entered previously on October 7 of last year, when explosives were used to force open the door of the safe, and goods to the value of over £BO were taken. Two brothers named Cole were subsequently arrested near .Auckland and on this and other charges were convicted and sentenced.
