FURTHER FALL ADVOCATED. LONDON, Feb. 21. The Sunday newspapers optimistically comment- On the reduction in the bank rate. They state the reduction is an indication that the crisis has passed. Tho Observer advocates a further reduction of 1 per cent, to encourage industrial enterprise. The Sunday Times says the bank rate will have to full further before a big conversion of war loan stock is possible. If the income tajt were lowered, the prospects of successful conversion would be greatly improved.

PukeIcolic. The price for new season's onions continues to rise and now stands at 9s 9d a cwt., as against 8s Gd last Monday.
