In insurance the demand was confined to New Zealands and South British. With one or two exceptions, other sections of the market were quiet and unaltered. In miscellaneous support for Colonial Sugars weakened 20s and offers of £3B were met with a selling quotation a similar amount lower at £39. After a fall early in the month, Australian Glass recovered Is 6d to change hands at 29s 6d, which equalled the rates obtained in the middle of January. Support in mining investments was a little erratic. Offers for Golden Dawns shaded Is 6d to 5s 9d and supplies were quoted Is easier at 6s 6d. Offers for Waihis wero marked down 2d to 16s lOd, but supplies remained firmly held at. 17s 6d. Grand Junctions wero secured Id lower at 3s 9d.
