AIR SERVICE PROJECT.
LONDON TO DETROIT. COURSE ACROSS ICELAND. LONDON, Feb. 16. A message from Reykjavik, Iceland, s.tates that the American Airlines Corporation has applied to the Government of Iceland for permission to establish a modern airport and radio station in that country in connection with a project to establish a daily mail service between London and Detroit. It is proposed to cover the distance in 48 hours, or in 72 hours if the service ii limited to daytime flying.
