RINGING THE CHANGES.
Ring the changes of the menu with an e Sfs and tomato omelette or a scrambled e 6g with tomatoes, or a salad of lettuce, radish, watercress and mustard and cress, containing cold hard-boiled eggs finely chopped. The midday meal should be on the light side, and preferably cold. This would be suitable: Cheese, wholemeal bread and butter and a cucumber or tomato salad with some egg dish. On cooler days a light meal of fish, poultry, or even meat may be substituted. No afternoon tea for choice. If custom or convention demands it, take nothing solid. For the evening meal, meat only in moderation, with vegetables cooked in their own juices—cold fish, cold ham and tongue, or eggs and cheese, ending up with a junket, fresh fruit and cream. Vary the diet as much as possible. Never take a meal when feeling overtired or irritated. A contented frame of mind is more lhan half the secret of a healthy digestion!
