THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE. HEAVIER TRADING RECORDED. Fairly heavy trading al stesdier levels was recorded on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Sellers continued to predominate in insurance, in which New Zealands were taken at the current price of 40s.^ The market for Auckland Gas steady. Quotations for ordinary shares were unaltered and the contributing issu« was secured at 16s Id, representing a fall of lid on rates existing before payment of the reduced dividend. New Zealand Breweries were released 3d easier at 25s 3d.
