Nothing has arisen from the meeting* of the Loan Council or Premiers at Melbourne to impart activity. The fact that the Commonwealth Government has decided to withhold the New South Wales share of the new loan money of £I.37Q,£K)G in order to pay New South Wales' interest abroad ha# caused a.lot of disappointment, for which Mr. Lang is held responsible.
