VISIT TO THE NORTH.

The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and the Lady Bledisloe, who are spending a holiday at Paihia, made an informal visit to Russell yesterday, when His Excellency addressed the school children. Their Excellencies later visited the offices of the Russell Progrer* League. Their Excellencies arrived at Waipapakauri last evening. This morning ihey will travel along the Ninety-Mile Beach to Spirits' Bay and will return in the afternoon to the Bluff, where a fishing party with the natives has been arranged. Later a visit to Mr. Norman Smith's racing car will be made. The party will leave for Taihia to-morrow morning."
