PHAR LAP IN MEXICO.

TRACK A SEA OF MUD.

(Received February 3. 7.5 p.m.) SAN DIEGO. Feb. 2.

Phar Lap has been kept in his stable, but his trainers say the interruption may be beneficial as it will help them to break the horse in more gradually before the big handicap.
