ASSEMBLY ENDORSES.
GANDHI'S SON ARRESTED

The Indian Assembly at New Delhi to-dav rejected by 62 votes to 44 the censure motion moved by the Opposition in connection with the promulgation of the recent emergency ordinances and the arrest of Gandhi and other Congress leaders. The vote vindicated the policy of the Government.
Gandhi's son-, Devi, was arrested at a railway station in the Punjab while he was on his way to the Nprth-West Frontier.
-BOMB AT LUCKNOW.
INJURIES TO POLICE.
ESCAPE OF THE CULPRIT,
CALCUTTA, Feb. 2. Four policemen, a sub-inspector, two head constables and three passers-by were injured when a bomb was thrown at a. police detachment at Lucknow. The culprit escaped.
