PRELIMINARY INQUIRY.
VESSEL COMMENCES LOADING
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday.
A preliminary inquiry into the fire on the motor-ship Port Fremantle was opened to-day by the Marine Department, after being held up yesterday by a dispute over the pay of the watersiders who were handling the cargo damaged by the fire.
The discharge has now been completed and loading began to-day.
