DISORDERS DEPLORED.

EXPONENTS OF VIOLENCE. "THE HAND OF MISCHIEF." (Received December 29. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Dec. 28. In commenting upon the renewed disorders in India, the. Prime Minister. Mr. Mac Donald, said tho whole situation was most deplorable. "It is very hard," said Mr. Mac Donald, "especially when tho British Government has given greater proof than its predecessors of its readiness, in conjunction with the Indian leaders, to agree to a. very large broadening of freedom, that the exponents of violence and disorder should have dashed the offered cup from India's lips. "Recent events do not represent a baffled and oppressed India struggling to be free, but a mischievous movement tb trampltf upon India's progress. Every Indian who cares for his Motherland must sec therein tin hand of mischief instead of tho spirit of emancipation."
