CATTLE ELECTROCUTED.
BREAK IN POWER LINE. LOSS OF 11 DAIRY COWS. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Saturday. The breaking of a 50,000 volt lino running from the Horahora power station to Hamilton resulted in the electrocution of 11 dairy cows on the property of Mrs. E. T. Chalmers, between Maungatautari and Horahora. The herd of about 30 cows was turned into tho night paddock on Thursday evening and a farm hand found 11 of them elccti'ocuted yesterday morning.
