OPERATIONS CONCtUDpD. SALVATION ARMY WORK. . ' 'I The two motor soup kitchens under the control of Staff-Captain T. Holmes, of the Salvation Army, have ceased operations after having distributed 70/100 rations of soup and bread to needy families in Auckland. The kitchens commenced operations last July, traversing the streets of the poorer quarters of the city and giving rations to all women and children* who cared to accept them. A large of letter;! of appreciation has been received by Staff-Captain Holmes.
