There were nearly 100 competitors in an efficiency contest conducted by the St. John Ambulance Association in Hamilton to-day. Members of the Hamilton, Franklin, Tauinarunui, Matamata and Huntly divisions competed. Dr. G. W. Cower was the examine]-. The, competition was won by Sergeant F. Mitchell, of Hamilton, who was presented with the Hague efficiency cup by the Minister of Health, the Hon. J. A. Young. Miss Dixon. Miss Bowler, Privat# Whittaker, of Hamilton, and Privat# Griffiths, of Huntly .tied for second places
