Shareholders in the Nokomai Sluicing Company, Limited, Dunedin, decided at a recent meeting that it was desirable the company should sell its undertaking to a new company to be incorporated under the name of the Nokomai Goldmining Company, Limited, and that with a view to carrying out. this sale the company should be wound up voluntarily. It was also decided that tho liquidator, Mr. Kurn Poy, of Dunedin, should be authorised to carry out and bring into operation the agreement for the sale of the company s undertaking to the Nokomai Goldmining Company, Limited. ... The chairman, Mr. H. L. Gill, in referring to these decisions, pointed out that it, was made apparent at the annual meeting that something would have to be done. Since then Mr. James Fletcher,' of the Fletcher Construction Company, had come forward with a proposal which, it was considered, would be more profitable. The directors had carefully considered the matter, and had concluded that reconstruction should be carried out immediately. They had decided to call in Mr. J. L. Stevens, of Auckland, who had some experience in matters of tho sort, and he had. after investigating tho position thoroughly; drawn up a scheme of reconstruction. v
