REDUCTION IN BUDGET. TOTAL' FIXED AT £68,600,000. WASHINGTON. Nov. 12. The Naval Budget, to be presented to the next meeting of Congress, has been fixed by the President, Mr. Hoover, at £68,600,000, a decrease of about £11,800,000 on the original Budget. At the request of the President, it is stated that the proposed Budget will not necessitate eliminating a single man from the personnel, and no fighting ships will be decommissioned, although tho rotation plan will be continued.
