MAILS BY AEROPLANE.
RETURN TO WELLINGTON. GOOD FLIGHT FROM AUCKLAND. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Friday. After completing the first InvercargillAuckland air mail flight, SquadronLea der McGregor returned to Wellington with mail to-day. He left Auckland at 7.30 a.m. and called at New Plymouth and W T anganui, picking up a bag of mail at each town, and landed at the Rongotai aerodrome at 12.15 p.m.
The mails which came by the machine were delivered in Wellington in the afternoon. A copy of to-day's New Zealand Herald was delivered at the Dominion office before 1 p.m. A quantity of the mail went to Sydney by the Marama in the afternoon to connect with the Australia-London air mail.
