CENTENARIAN NEGRO.
FIRST AND FATAL ILLNESS.
Henry Wallace, the son of an American negro, died at Cowra, New South "Wales, recently, aged 106 years. He was admitted to the institution about a week previously suffering from influenza. He had been making satisfactory progress, and had been able to leave his bed, but his heart failed. This was the first illness the old man had ever had, and until he was taken to the hospital he worked in his garden at Goolagong.
