By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received November 12. 11.15 p.m.) HONGKONG, Nov. 11. The British sloop Petersficld, carrying Admiral YY. A. 11. Kelly, commander-in-ohiof of the China station, and Lady Kelly, went aground nt Foochow, 450 miles to the north of Hongkong. The sloop is badly holed fore, and aft and is a total wreck. The vicinity is surrounded by rocks. All hands were saved, several vessels standing hy. The I etersfield was used as the admiral's yacht.

The. Pet ersfielrl was built under the

emergency war programme to serve as a minesweeper. She is a vessel of 710 tons.
