Mr. C. M. Richwhite left for Wellington last evening. Mr. M. S. Myers, of Dunedin, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Woodcraft, of Melbourne, are at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. C. H. Shepherd, of Christchureh. and Mr. R. Nalusch, of Napier, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. J. B. Turner, of Christclurch, and Mr. T. M. Wright, of Warkw cth, are at the Royal Hotel. The Hon. C. J. Carrington and the Ffon. G. J. Garland, M.L.C.'s, arrived from Wellington yesterday morning. Mr. J. Priestley, of Wellington, Dominion secretary of the Sudan Lnited Mission, arrived in Auckland yesterday. Mr. B. V. W r right, of Timaru, the well-known amateur has been transferred to tfte Bank of New, Zealand in Dunedin. Mr. M. R. O'Shea, registrar of the Auckland University College, returned yesterday morning from a visit to Wellington on business connected with the college. Mr. J. Rogers, a. brother of Mr. W. J. Rogers, of Wanganui, has been appointed general manager of the, newly-formed British Auxiliaries, Limited, one of the largest engineering firms in Scotland. Mr. P. S. de Q. Cabot, a well-known New Zealand University graduate and Rugby player, who graduated from Columbia University, New York, this year, is now studying at Harvard University, Massachusetts. Mr. -A. Harris. Mr. J: N. Massey, Mr. A. J. Stall worthy, Mr. J. B. Donald, Mr. A. J. Murdoch, Mr. M. J. Savage, Mr. H. G. R. Mason and Mr. G. C. Munns, M.P.'s, arrived from Wellington yesterday morning. Mr. A. Grayson, president of the Auckland Automobile Association, /will leave this morning on a comprehensive tour of the association's territory, including the Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Waikare-monna-Urewcra and Taupo districts. He will return at the end of next week. Mr. H. Bradmore, manager of the Waverley branch of the Bank of Australasia, has been transferred to the Tauranga branch as manager in succession to Mr. H. P. Butts, who is retiring and settling in Tauranga after 43 years' service with the bank. Mr. Butts was appointed manager of the Tauranga branch 12 years ago.
