WRESTLING.
F'INTO-LURICH CONTEST. Thrills in plenty are expected at the Town Hall on Monday evening when Tom Lurich will endeavour to check Stanley Pinto's run of successes. Pinto is one of the best allround wrestlers in New Zealand, . judging by his performances. He is a fast mover, a versatile wrestler and the possessor of strength in plenty. He holds no man his superior at picking up his opponent and slan.ming him to the canvas, and if he can pick up Lurich the Russian will have to be very agile to escape. The Russian's body scisiiors have caused much anguish to his opponents, and it is a question whether Pin ;o will be etrong enough or clever enough to avoid them. Pinto's dumping and Lurich's scissors are both match-win-ninr factors, and those, combined with the other holds ia which both are experts, indicate that a thrilling match will be in store for patrons on Monday evening Ihe box plans uro at Asher's, Shortland btreet.
