PAPAKURA BOARD'S VIEW. GREATER CONCESSIONS URGED. While congratulating the Railways Board on its decision to reduce suburban fares tho PapukuraTown Board expressed tlie view last evening that the proposal did not go far enough. H was considered that all suburban residents should have the benefit of tho workers' weekly ticket by all trains arriving in Auckland before 9 a.m. At tho present tinio as far as Papakura was concerned the last train on which the workers' tickets could bo tendered was the one leaving Papakura at 6.59 a.m., tickets boing 4s a week. The cheapest fare available to workers by tho 7.45 a.m. train was 10s 6d a week, the tickets being bearer trip ones, which also ought to bo made weekly.
