A deficiency of £4104 was disclosed when the creditors of William Albert Stapleton, of Tattersall's Hotel, met to-day. The total sum of £2400 wa; owing to unsecured creditors and £353£ to secured creditors. Bankrupt, blamed a progressive- declim in his takings and said that lately he had had considerable difficulty in paving rent. The rental of the hotel was £l7i a month. His affairs were left in the hands oi » small committee.
