TWO ; REMANDS GRANTED. 'A charge of stealing a suit of clothes and a pair of shoes of a total value of £6, the property of Charles Alfred Lound, was preferred against Vincent O'Connor, aged, 24, clerk (Mr. Noble), in the Police Court yesterday!. Accused was remanded in custody for \ week. A similar remand was granted in the case of Reginald Keith Bain, aged 29, salesman C. A. Snedden), who was charged with fraudulently obtaining £1 10s from Ernest Montgomery by means of a valueless cheque. Bail of £SO was allowed by the magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt. ' -
