AERO CLUB.

Another successful evening was held in the clubhouse, Mangere, when members of the Auckland Aero Club entertained their friends at one of the fortnightly dances which are being held during the winter season. Warm fires glowing in lounge and library offered cosy hospitality to the darcers, while variety was provided by Miss Margaret O'Connor and Mr. Priestley, who gave a demonstration of some of the latest dances. Mis. R. Grierson (piano) and Mr. L. W. Swan (violin) generously assisted with the dance music. Among those present were:—Mrs. Spencer Mason, who wore embossed georgette with silver lame coatee; Mrs. J. Seabrook, black lace frock with coatee to match; Mis. J. Lambert, cherry panne, trimmed with skunk; Mrs. Gordon Forsythe, blue georgette over gold lame; Mrs. R. J. Copley, black panne and georgette: Mrs. T. Philcox, black floral taffeta and net; Mrs. R. Grierson, eggshell blue taffeta: Mrs. Ken. Hall, cherry lace; Mrs. Harvey, white floral ninon; Miss Phil. Maciridoe, blue floral ninon with coatee; Miss Linda de Renzy, soft green satin and lame; Mss Roseta Sidebottom, resida green panne; Miss G. M. Peacock, floral taffeta with blue coatee trimmed with fox ; Miss N. Goosemnn, shell-pink georgette and beaded net; Miss Margaret O'Connor, jade green georgette with coral applique in beads; Miss M. Gorton, jade lace; Miss Nancy Redstone, beige lace; Miss Niiu Wallace, sage green georgette; Miss Janet Wallace, pink faille; Miss Peggy Robertson, pink taffeta; Miss Bettv Abbot, pink georgette; Miss Valerie Peacock, sea-green georgette; Miss Lois Mahon, blue georgette; Miss Peggy Leper, blue faille.
