MASQUERADE DANCE.
The Towai Rugby League Club held a successful masquerade dance in the Towai Hall. A large number of guests were present, including visitors from Kaikohe, Whangarei, Kawakawa and surrounding districts. '1 he fancy costumes were not numerous, bin were of exceptional merit, and the judges had a hard task to award the prizes. The following is a list of the winnersßest, couple, Misses Thorn and A. Murray, "Felix and His Lady"; best lady, Mrs. C. .1. Williams, Spanish lady; best man, Mr. 0. J. Williams, Spanish gentleman; comic costume, Mr. A. Brown, coon; poster, Miss T. Sherwin. Among those present were Mesdames Rhodes, Hadley, Feldon, Kerr, L. Williams, C. Going, Hay, Delaney, Ford, N Wallace. D. Going, Misses L. Gilbert, M. Boise, .W. .Tames, "Mitchell, Hut.chins Pnngle.
