EX-KING'S TREASURES.
STOLEN FROM PALACE.
RECOVERY BY MADRID POLICE.
< Received September '23, 9.15 p.m.) MADRID. Sept. 23.
The police have recovered 255 large packages of jewels, plate and objects of art which the servants smuggled from ex-King Alfonso's palace after his flight.
The packages were first hidden in a tapestry factory and thence removed to a house outside the city. The treasure has now been restored to the palace.
