THE GOLDEN SNUFF BOX.
A simpleton once wrote this letter to one of his friends:
" I have left my golden snuff box at your house. Be good enough to send it back by the bearer of this note." But before closing his letter he found his snuff box, and added a postscript: " I have just found it; do not trouble to look for it." Then he closed the. letter and sent it off.
