MUCH-NEEDED HOLIDAY.

MR. MacDONALD IN COUNTRY. GENERAL HEALTH EXCELLENT. British Wireless. RUGBY, Sept. 23. Mr. Baldwin will preside over the Cabinet. and take the place of the Prime Minister while Mr. MacDonnld is having a few days of complete quiet in the country. Mr. Mac Donald's health is excellent., although the long hours of work and his inability during the last few weeks to set aside the cares of office even for a day have made the present short rest desirable. The manner in which the situation this week developed has enabled him to go for this- rest, free from nil anxieties.
