FATAL FALL OVER CLIFF.

YOUNG WOMAN'S DEATH, DROP OF ABOUT 200 FEET. [BT TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. As a result of a fall over a cliff at Scarborough, Sumner, late last evening, Winsome McGallan, aged 24, single, died in hospital to-day. It is not known how the accident occurred, but her cries attracted a resident near by. It is estimated that she fell 200 ft. At the inquest to-day evidence given by the father was to the effect that the girl had been in ill-health lately and some what depressed. The inquest was adjourned.
