RUAPEHU SEARCHERS.
ALLOCATION OF THE FUND. FORMATION OF COMMITTEE. As the result of correspondence between tho Mayor of Auckland, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, and the chairman of the National Park Board, Mr. W. Robertson, a committee has been set up to make grants from the fund of more than £7OO which was subscribed recently for those who conducted and assisted in tho search for the missing climbers on Mount Ruapehu. The committee consists of Mr. J. Cullen, warden of the National Park; Mr. T. A. Blyth, of Ohakuno, a member of the National Park Board; Mr. C. A. 80le 6 ;, Mayor of Taumarunui; arid Mr. G. Goldfinch, Mayor of Ohakune. The committee will be asked to meet shortly at the Chateau and decide upon a basis of allocation. The money is being held in Auckland, and will be disbursed to recipients on receipt of certificates from the committee.
