FILMS IN CANADA.
AN ALLEGED COMBINE. PROSECUTION BY PROVINCES. (Received September 23, 6.45 p.m.) TORONTO, Sept. 22. The Provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario have joined in the immediate prosecution of a motion picture corporation reported by the commissioner, Mr. Peter White, after an investigation of the Dominion's film industry, on a charge of forming an illegal combine. Separate action by Quebec is likely.
