FEELING THE STRAIN.
MR. MacDONALD TO REST. FEW DAYS IN THE COUNTRY. (Received September 23, 7.35 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY. Sept. 22. The Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, is feeling the effects of the strain of work, and, acting on medical advice, he will leave London to-night for a few days' rest in the country. GENERAL ELECTION. DECISION NOT YET MADE. i (Received September 23. ILIS p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 23. Political writers do not expect a decision regarding the general election until Mr. Mac Donald returns to Downing Street, when the effects of the suspension of the gold standard will be known and tho situation bo clearer. The Daily Telegraph says it regards an election as certain in October.
