BANK AMALGAMATION.
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN PLAN. PERTH, Sept, 23. The terms of the amalgamation of the State and the Commonwealth Savings Banks are that 70 per cent, of the new money deposited after October 1 shall be available for use by the State at 1 per cent, above the rate allowed to depositors and that profits or losses are to be equally shared.
