POINT CHEVALIER CLUB. OFFICERS FOR NEW SEASON. An appeal to members of the Point Chevalior Sailing Club to assist the club to pay off the mortgage, on clubhouse was mado by the president, Mr. M. J. Coyle. at the annual meeting lust evening. The lady members of the club and a few yachtsmen hnd worked very hard in the club's interests, said the chairman, but it the club desired to retain its clubhouse all handswould have to put their shoulders to tho wheel. There was a mortgage of £750 on the clubhouse, and every effort should be mr.de to pay off the debt. The report stated that although the sea-: son had been a very trying one, -10 new junior members had joined the club, "lie racing had been keen, and the handicapping had brought about very close finishes. The balance-sheet showed a small credit on the year's working. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. E. H. Davis; vice-patron, Mr, J S. Fletcher, M.P.; president, Mr. M. J. Coyle; commodore, Mr, H. Rollinson; vice-commodore, Mr. E. Croad; rear-camnio-dore. Mr. H Galbraith; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. E. Buckley; secretary, Mr. R. E. Thorpe; assistant secretary, Mr. F. Green; clubhouse captain. Mr. J. Sanders; assistants, Messrs. F. Dyson and J. McMillan; auditors. Messrs, F. Dyson ajid T. Courtenay; committee,' Messrs. T, Tate, C. S. Hogan, F. Dyson, jun., W. Allen, J. Ste'nbeck. J. Cleal. R. A. Thorpe. T, Cleal, P. Dickson. 6. Rockwood, F. Palmer, and J. Strongman; delegates to Auckland Yacht and Motor-boat Association, Messrs. C. S. Hogan and E. Croad.
