AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION.
SUCCESSFUL PAST YEAR
A most satisfactory financial position was revealed by the balance-sheet presented, at the annual meeting of the Auckland Croquet Association, there being a credit, balance ot £l2O 16a fid. The president, Mrs. Oswald, presided over a large attendance. The report stated that the }<ew Zealand Croquet Council's North Island championship meeting was held in Auckland m January, and proved most successful J.he Auckland Croquet Association held its annual tournament in March, the proceeds being donated to the earthquake fund Inter-club matches played during the season were, as usual, keenly contested, the shields being won by the following: AA giade, rtemuera : A grade. Onehunga; B grade. Mount Albert _ The following.officers were elected President. Mrs. Hamilton; vice-presidents. Mesdlimes Bedeley, Finch and Cole; executive, Mesdanien McGill. McGregor. P°wley. Torrenre. Webber. Gallaher. Cutforth; lion, auditor, Mr. Thornes: Hon. secretary. Mrs. Keesins: delegate to New Zealand Croquet Council, Mrs. Keesing. , It was decided to start inter-club matches or. November 3.
