\ MONUMENT AND EQUIPMENT. OTAHUHU BOWLING CLUB. Advice from the Otahuhu Bowling Club ;was received at a meeting of the Otahuhu [Borough Council this week that the club bad £SO available and would hand it to the council on condition that it was used in providing children's playing equipment fit Seaside Park. The club also advised that it proposed to hand over '£3o for the erection of a monument in Sturges Park, in memory of the late Mr-. Alfred Sturges, who gave the j>ark area to the borough. The offers were received, and the Parks Committee was instructed to lake the pecessary action.
