AKARANA YACHT CLUB.
ANNUAL PRIZE NIGHT. The annual dance and prize night of the Akarana Yacht Club was held in the clubhouse last evening and attracted a large attendance of members and their friends. The decorations in the ballroom were very artistically arranged, the club flag being formed on the ceiling by short streamers, while round the walls were various club and championship flags and pennants. Classes of green foliage were arranged in the supper room downstairs, and excellent music was provided for the dancing by Stacey's Revellers. The prizes won during the season were presented by the harbourmaster, Captain H. H. Sergeant. Among those present were: —Mrs. L. Heard, • wearing pagoda red georgette; Mrs. F. Auger,• lacquer red velvet; Mrs. Don, eau de-nil taffeta; Mrs. A. Mayall, ivory satin; Mrs. A. Marson, black tosca net; Mrs. Oldberg, cyclamen taffeta; Mrs. Scotting, black and pink lace; Mrs. H.
