DANGER FROM DRIFTING ICE

LONDON, August 21

No news has born received since Friday from Sir Hubert Wilkins' submarine Nautilus, when he reported a leaky valve. There were fog and snow squalls and he described the submarine's danger from drifting ice. The News-Chronicle suggests that the unusuil silence indicates that the Nautilus has dived under the Polar ico cap and commenced the hazardous part of her voyage.
