BROADBENT'S FLIGHT.
FORCED LANDING MADE
NO INJURY TO AIRMAN. (Received August, 25, 0.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 25. Advice has been received that Mr. If. Broadbeiit, who began a flight around Australia just after midnight on Monday, apparently made a forced landing. Ihe airman is not hurt and his aeroplane is not damaged. Mr. B roiidbent was reported to have reached Brisbane and Townsvillo and to have last been seen in the vicinity of Rockhanipton on the same day. .Airmen searched to-day and sighted a bogged aeroplane in the mud on an island in the Styx River, 100 miles north of Itockhamptoii. A land party then went to the scene.
