OPEN FOURS TOURNAMENT. SECTION PLAY COMPLETED. Section piny in the open fours tournament of tlio Auckland Friendly Societies' Indoor Bowling' Association was completed ou Saturday, when the final three rounds were played. Following aro tlio totals:— A Section.—Jones, 1U; Campling, 12; Lucas, 11; Moulden, 10; Francis, 9; Simpson, Baker, Meek, 8; Ali'3. Rout, G; Sticlibury, 5. B Section.—Sullivan, Blackwell, 16; Beer, 32; Little, 11; Drew, 10; Jarrett, 8; McCallum, G; "Withers, 5; Whitley, 4; Phillips, o C Section.—Cutler, 17; Copeland, 13; McPhcrson, 11; Dittmer, Day, 10; Smith, Jenkin, 8; Hamlin, 5; Potter, Harris, 4. Tlio following teams qualified for postsection play:— (Alberta', 3.0.0. F.). Sullivan (Victoria, A.0.F.), Blackwell (Birkenhead, A.0.F.), Cutler (Wingato and Company), Copeland (Aroatea, 1.0.0. F.). The result of post-section play is as follows:—First round: Alberta (F. Ivingdon, Smithiman, junr., Smithiman, eenr., J. H. Jones), G. v. .Aroatea (V. Queenin, O. Sowden. J. liowarth, W. Copeland). 5; Birkenhead (E. Hoyland, A. Smith, C. Sampson, F. Blackwell), 10, v. Wingato and C'ornpnny (C. Taylor, C. Skoen, J. Tyndall. A. Cutler), 2; Victoria (A. Williams, I. Williams, J. Sharpe, F. Sullivan), a bye. Second Round.—Sullivan, 8, v. Blackwell. 5; Cutler, 10, v. Copeland, 2; Jones, a bye. Copeland was eliminated. Tlio tourney will be completed on Tuesday, August 18, at 7.30 p.m., when the third round will bo played. Members of the Indoor Bowling Association will be the guests of the Dominion Road Bowling Club next Saturday, when suvun links will bo engaged.
