CITY OF KIMBERLEY.

TRANSFER OF THE CARGO. HITCH WITH WHARF WORKERS. A minor dispute occurred yesterday morning in connection with the discharging of the disabled steamer City of Kimberley at Prince's Wharf. . The waterside workers refused to truck the cargo from the ship's slings to the steam'ers on which the cargo is to be transhipped. The first portion of the cargo to be unloaded was for Southern ports to be forwarded by the Union Company's steamer Waimarino. • The officials of the Waterside Workers' Union objected to the men who were loading the Waimarino having to truck the cargo from the City of Kimberley, which is berthed on the same side of the wharf. In the end the difficulty was overcome by using trailers to transfer the southern cargo to the Waimarino and the Sydney cargo to the Kartigi.
